If you haven't heard of magnet fishing or aren't sure what it is, it has quite a simple explanation. It is exactly what it sounds like, fishing with a large powerful magnet. However, the magnet fishers aren't trying to catch fish, crustaceans, or any other seafood, they're after metal objects that will stick to the magnet. It is pretty much like a form of modern-day treasure hunting without the need for scuba training and gear. People have found all kinds of stuff from basic metal scrap and junk, coins and jewelry, all the way to firearms and even a live grenade.
In this video, this man was out on the edge of a pier when he discovered he had 'hooked' something. Upon further inspection, he discovered it was an ammo magazine with .50 caliber rounds still in it!
