Record Store Day Releases Announced

Record Store Day is set to go down April 23rd, and the list of releases are out, so music fans may want to start putting their money away. 

Taylor Swift is first-ever Global Ambassador for Record Store Day, which this year is celebrating its 15th anniversary, and she will be representing by releasing a seven-inch pressing of her “Folklore” bonus track “The Lakes.”

Other releases include:

  • U2 will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the 1982 single “A Celebration” with 12-inch vinyl EP featuring an outtake and the B-side “Trash.”
  • Foo Fighters will release a seven-inch single with “Re-Versions” of “Medicine at Midnight” tracks “Making A Fire” and “Chasing Birds,” featuring Mark Ronson, Preservation Jazz Hall Band, the Dap Kings, and more.
  • Stevie Nicks is reissuing her solo classic “Bella Donna,” with an additional LP of outtakes and B-sides.
  • The Rolling Stones’ contribution is a glow-in-the-dark vinyl of “More Hot Rocks (Big Hits & Fazed Cookies).”
  • The Doors are dropping a four-LP version “L.A. Woman” with outtakes from the 50th-anniversary reissue.
  • Kacey Musgraves is offering up a picture disc version of her latest album “Star-Crossed.”
  • Mariah Carey is releasing a two-LP version of her “#1s” album.
  • Glass Animals will release a 12-inch vinyl of “I Don’t Wanna Talk (I Just Wanna Dance).”
  • Madonna is releasing a 12-inch vinyl of “Who’s That Girl (Super Club Mix)”
  • The Cranberries are releasing a tribute to their late frontwoman Dolores O'Riordan. "Remembering Dolores, originally released in Septemer in honor of what would have been her 50th birthday, will be released as a limited edition Double LP.
  • Red Hot Chili Peppers will drop a a special RSD edition of their upcoming album "Unlimited Love."
