26-year-old Jemma Lilley tortured 18-year-old Aaron Pajich so she could tick murder off her bucket list. She strangled Aaron (who had Asperger's syndrome) with a wire until it broke and then stabbed him 3 times before burying him in her garden. Lilley and her accomplice were found guilty in November at The Supreme Court of Western Australia. On Wednesday the two were sentenced to to life imprisonment with a minimum term of 28 years.
Lilley told the court she wanted to kill someone before she turned 25 and was so "euphoric" after murdering Mr Pajich that she boasted to a supermarket colleague. The woman stepmother said she was frightening and sinister even as a child, and was obsessed with serial killers and murder.
