College Sues Squatter

In New York, a young woman in her 30s decided she didn't want to be in college anymore. In 2016, Lisa Palmer started school at Hunter College to follow her dream as a geography major, but soon decided that school wasn't for her, and dropped out. For the past two years since she's quit school, she's lived in her dormitory. The school has sent several notices that she would be charged $150 a day if she stayed, which she did. Ever since, she has lived in her dorm racking up a $94,000 bill. Despite several attempts to remove the woman, the school is now taking the woman to court. She says she plans to fight the lawsuit, and will continue to squat while she's doing it. Ms. Palmer is just one of ten people that the school is currently trying to evict. Read The Full Story Here
