Jan Doe was awarded 6.5 Million dollars all because of some revenge porn. Jan Doe says that Dan posted photos of her online. Though, California has a revenge Porn case, there is no federal law and is tough to prosecute. Jan Doe had her breasts copyrighted, so thats what has caused such a judgement, as the internet allowed it to spread all over.
Doe was awarded $450,000 in damages because of copyright infringement. She also received $3 million in compensatory damages for emotional distress, and $3 million in punitive damages.
