Authorities say a Seattle suburban mother has been charged with felony assault after she attacked a sixth grade girl last year at a girls basketball game. 38-year-old Monique Altheimer has got on to the court and choked a child who had argued with her daughter during an aggressive game. Investigators say the woman was cursing at the girl at the child while strangling her, and elbowed an 11-year-old girl attempting to help her teammate. The victim started to black out when her own mom knocked down Altheimer to stop the attack.
