19-year-old Maggie Wallace reported to police that she was attacked at Mounds State Park on July 3. She claimed that she was running through the park at 12:45pm when a male knocked her to the ground and groped her. After the attack was reported at 17-year-old male told police he met the woman on "Whisper," (an anonymous social networking app.) He said he responded to her post, where she said she was looking for someone to fulfill her "rape fantasy." He even showed police screenshots of their conversations. At first Wallace denied the teen's version of the story, but after a follow-up interview, she came clean. Wallace was arrested for false reporting.
