A customer shopping at a Primark store found a human bone in a pair of socks in the store. Essex police said the bone “did not appear to be a result of recent trauma, and had no skin or other particles surrounding it.” The store said it is highly probable that the bone was placed in the sock by a person, and apologized to the customer. Primark also contacted the factory where the sock was made but there was no evidence to suggest it occurred at the factory. Police will continue to investigate to see how old the bone is.
