Woman Cuts Off Hand For Cash

In Slovenia, a woman grew some rather huge balls for a payout. Police say a 21 year old woman was rushed to the hospital after she cut her hand off trimming trees...at least that's what she says anyway. Come to find out, with a little help from her family members and a circular saw, the woman cut her hand off to claim an insurance payout of 400,000 euros, which is about $640,000 American. Officials say that the family left the hand behind to ensure that the disability was permanent. Unfortunately for them, the doctors were able to retrieve it in time to reattach the severed limb. Police say this happened earlier this year after the family sign on to five different insurance agencies, and there will be no payout because they discovered the fraud in time.
