31-year-old Jennifer Stewart allegedly broke into a car and physical altercation with the victim at a car wash. Hoping to separate the two, a police sergeant placed Stewart in the back of his car. When the officer went to speak to the apparent victim police say Stewart "appeared to crawl through the divider from the back seat into the front seat of the patrol car," and then drove off. Law enforcement followed the woman and got the car to stop using spike strips. Stewart was taken into custody and charged with burglary of a motor vehicle, evading arrest, vehicle theft, and vandalism. She is being held in lieu of a $37,500 bond.
