Bank robber threatens tellers with avocado

A 47-year-old man in Israel allegedly burglarized two banks last month with an avocado that he painted black. He told tellers it was a grenade, and handed them a misspelled hand written note. The man managed to steal $8,400 from two banks. He handed tellers the note that said “Hand over the money in the drawer,” and told the teller "Put the money in the bag or I'll quickly throw this grenade." with the avocado in hand. He hit two banks a week apart. Investigators were able to track the man's cell phone, and identified him as a former convict who previously served three years for robbery. Click Here For More Story
