Man Celebrates Sobriety By Getting A Motorcycle

An Arizona man decided to celebrate his sobriety by getting a motorcycle. 29 year old Jackson Hanley was celebrating 4 months of sobriety, so he rode his bicycle down to a local Kawasaki shop, picked out his bike, and started pushing it down the street. A customer who had noticed the theft, alerted store employees, who then alerted the police. Police found him about a mile away resting on a fence with the bike slightly tipped, but still upright. He admitted to stealing the bike and told them that he was celebrating 4 months of sobriety and wanted a motorcycle. He said he was going to walk it home, and try to start it there. He also admitted that he was drunk off vodka and Moscato. He was taken in on felony theft, and the bike suffered about $3500 worth of damages to the exhaust.
