A Tennessee teenager is making progress after a gruesome sledding accident. Sam Reid was sledding behind a four-wheeler in a pasture in Arlington. At one point, the tow rope broke and he slid into the spike of a hay tractor. Doctors had to remove a four-foot steel spike from his torso during a long surgical operation. The teenager broke six ribs, some small bones in his neck and lost half a lung, but family members say he was able to walk a bit in the hospital hallway recently.
