Milwaukee Burger King Worker Shot Dead During Drive-Thru Robbery She Staged

A 16-year-old was working the drive-thru of a Milwaukee Burger King on January 2nd when she was shot and killed. Investigators originally believed a man waving a gun at her through the window and demanding money had shot her, but a camera inside the restaurant showed that Niesha Harris-Brazell was shot by one of her coworkers as he was aiming for the robber. Investigators started to dig and found that the "robber" was Harris-Brazell's best friend's father; that best friend, Mariah Edwards, reportedly admitted to authorities that she, Harris-Brazell, and her father staged the robbery. The father, Antoine Edwards, is charged with felony murder, contributing to the delinquency of a child with death as a consequence, and possession of a firearm by a felon.
