Man Arrested For Beating Dog With Wooden Mallet

Some people need to be beaten themselves. Yesterday in Tulsa, police got a call from the neighbor of Alberto Esparaza saying he had beaten his dog with a large wooden mallet. When police showed up to the house, no one answered the door, so they went around back and saw the Pitbull laying next to the fence. They called him over, and he got up slowly and made his way towards them with a severe limp. Officers went back around to the front door where they found Alberto. He told police that his dog tried to bite one of his pet birds, and afterwards, he went outside. When he went outside, Alberto said he hit the dog in the hindquarters with a large wooden mallet. The dog was taken to the vet where they discovered he had a dislocated back hip. Alberto was taken in for animal cruelty.
