With his subdermal horns, inky black eyes and forked tongue, it's hardly surprising Rolf Buchholz is often compared to a devil.
The German holds the title of the world's most modified man, boasting hundreds of bizarre body alterations including an eye-watering 278 piercings on his genitals.
As well as his snake-like split tongue, Rolf also has a split penis. Yes, you read that right.
It's perhaps fortunate that Rolf doesn't expand on the details of that particular procedure. But he insists his genital decorations have had no impact on his sex life.
"It's not a problem at all," he said. "I have had the piercings already so long, if there was a problem, I would have got rid of them already long ago."
Speaking to a local German television station, Rolf once said the piercings give him more trouble at airports than they do in bed.
The most famous of his modifications, he says, are the subdermal implants in his arms and his head - which look like horns. He has 35 implants in total, including six genital beadings and a flexible rhombus on the back of his hand.
He also has magnets implanted in his fingertips which can sometimes interfere with electronic devices like his iPad.
Rolf has now held the record of being the most modified man since 2012.
But his obsession didn't start until he was 40 when he got his first tattoo on his leg.
He now boasts a staggering 516 body alterations.
"I started with the body modifications because I liked them," said the 62-year-old who works for a telephone company.
"They were fun, so I started doing more and more."
