Police say a handgun was apparently bought and sold inside the Rise Up Academy in South Bend, Indiana. Rise Up Academy is an alternative high school for students who are behind on getting the credits they need to graduate, and it gets better; the gun that was sold inside the school was allegedly stolen from a 52-year-old female purse-snatching victim. Both students admitted to selling and buying the gun at school, and are being dealt with by the corporation that runs the academy.
