A flight attendant was busted by TSA agents in San Diego trying to smuggle three pounds of fentanyl onto a flight. Terese White has entered a plea agreement in which she cops to flying into San Diego from Dallas in her off-time, and then trying to hop another plane with the drugs on her. Prosecutors say White tried to use the “known crew member” line to get through security but was “selected for the regular passenger screening process instead.” During that, she set off a metal detector and a body scanner, and that was all she wrote when the fentanyl packages were found taped to her body. White has now pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute, and her plea deal includes “an admission that she tried to use her status as a flight attendant to commit the offense.”
