Michael Irvin is being pulled from the NFL Network’s Super Bowl coverage this week following an incident he had with a woman in Arizona Sunday night. The former Dallas Cowboy-turned-TV-personality told the Dallas Morning News the encounter happened at a hotel near the site of this weekend's game. Irvin says he returned to the property after a night of partying and says he spoke with the woman in the lobby for less than a minute and described the encounter as “almost entirely non-physical”. The woman, however, seems to have a different memory of the interaction.
Irvin says he's been left "perplexed" by the accusation, explaining he hardly even remembers talking to her. "When I got back after going out … I came into the lobby, and I talked to somebody," Irvin said. "I talked to this girl. I don't know her, and I talked to her for about 45 seconds.
Irvin insists no one came into his room with him and ended his thought by saying, “I don’t know. I don’t know what this is, and it’s running me crazy."
