There is a new item of interest in the Gabby Petitio murder case. A letter written by Brian Laundrie's mother mentions obtaining a shovel and burying a body. The envelope says “burn after reading.” Brian is responsible for Gabby's demise, and he later committed suicide. In response to the note brought up in Sarasota County Florida Court, the Laundrie family attorney, speaking virtually, indicated that the letter has no date, and downplayed its relevance. They actually said it was written before Gabby was murdered. The Petito family is suing the Laundries for emotional distress, with trial expected to begin in August.
