A lucky man in China won $1.5 million in the lottery but chose to hide that fact from his wife. Over the next two years, he gave one-fifth of the winnings to his sister and a healthy chunk to his ex-wife….still, his current wife was in the dark. All good things must come to an end, though. Somehow, the wife found out about her hubby’s windfall and immediately filed for divorce…and sued him for “her cut of the lottery prize.” On February 1st, the court came back with a decision, and said she was due 60% of the winnings. It’s hard to imagine any scenario where that deception ends up being worth it.
