Less than a month after his death, actor Lance Reddick’s cause of death has been revealed. According to “The Wire” star’s death certificate, Reddick- who was 60 when he passed away- was suffering from a combination of afflictions that attributed to his death.
Ischemia, a condition that affects blood and oxygen flow, and arteriosclerosis were two simultaneous heart and artery problems (respectively) that afflicted Reddick. Arteriosclerosis is an artery-related issue in which blood flow to organs becomes restricted. This can often lead to either a heart attack or a stroke.
Reddick’s “John Wick” co-star Keanu Reeves recently paid tribute to the late actor. “He was a beautiful person, a special artist (and) a man of grace and dignity (with) such a passion for his craft,” said the star. “To have had the chance to work with him over the 10 years …] is something very special to me.”
