Last week, 34 year old Guatemalan native Danial Barrera was pulled over for a simple traffic stop. Police originally arrested him for driving on a permanently revoked license. Cops searched his car, and when they did, they found 29.7 grams of a substance that tested positive for heroin. He told the cops that his family recently sent it to him from Guatemala, and he thought it was chili powder. He was taken in on narcotics trafficking, and also faces a probation violation for a prior DUI.
