A prostitute stabbed one of her clients in the penis over claims he owed her $100.
Police in the African country of Malawi said the sex worker has been arrested and now faces serious charges.
News site Malawi 24 said the horrifying scene unfolded in the Monkey Bay, Mangochi district of the country where the sex worker was identified as Patricia Wyson.
She was accused of stabbing her customer's penis with a knife.
Monkey Bay police station spokesman, Sergeant Alice Sichali, said the incident occurred at Chembe Village in the area of Tradition Authority Nankumba, Cape Maclear during Friday night (April 28).
Police say the 29-year-old suspect met the man and the two struck a deal to have sex together for money.
The agreed price was just $100 and the pair headed to the customer's house.
Sgt Sichali said: "Whilst there, wrangles erupted soon after the act and in the process the suspect took a sharp knife and grievously wounded the customer's manhood."
The man was rushed to Cape Maclear health centre and was later referred to Monkey Bay community hospital for treatment and examination.
The prostitute was later arrested and she is expected to answer a number of charges including intending to cause grievous harm, Malawi 24 reports.Meanwhile, in more uplifting news, one UK prostitute demanded sex workers listen to their clients after she diagnosed a punter's life-threatening condition.

She wrote a candid Twitter thread where she said: "I didn’t like the sound of a client’s chest, told him to go immediately to a walk in clinic or A&E, he said he would then didn’t… found out that the next day he collapsed and ended up in intensive care!
"A life lesson to all of you to listen to your prostitute."She followed up soon after, writing: "Not sure what was wrong with him, this was a month ago and I believe he’s out of hospital now, I found out because his FRIEND of all people BOOKED ME and said 'my pal told me about you'."
When quizzed on how she found out about the issue, she told a follower: "It wasn’t heart, it was breathing, he had a subtle but deep chest wheeze and, being the kind of person I am, I then took a full patient history."
