Drunk Fla. Man Kicked Out of Bar; Returns and Attacks Bar Owner With Belt

Last weekend, a 37-year-old man was kicked out of a bar in West Palm Beach for being too intoxicated but quickly returned wielding a firearm, according to the affidavit.

The suspect, Fabio Llano Sanchez, was later arrested by Palm Beach Sheriff's Office (PBSO) deputies and charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a firearm, two counts of aggravated battery with belt and battery, according to records. He was released Wednesday with a $60,000 bond amount.

When deputies arrived to the area on July 23 around 2 a.m., the owner of the bar, 45-year-old Aabhash Pradhan, identified Sanchez as the suspect when deputies detained him as he tried to leave Girafa's Sports GRILL, located off Forest Hill Boulevard.

The bar owner told PBSO deputies Sanchez was too drunk and harassing other customers.

When the reportedly rowdy bar patron was told to leave, he left to his car but came back with a firearm. According to the affidavit, Sanchez pointed this weapon directly at Pradhan, stating "I will shoot you."

The 37-year-old also allegedly threatened to shoot the bar's security.

Then, Sanchez took off his belt and swung at the 45-year-old bar owner, hitting him multiple times, the arrest report said.

A security guard began fighting with the suspect while Pradhan, fearing for his life he told deputies, called 911. The guard, Luis Larossa Chavez, told the PBSO deputies when he demanded Sanchez to leave for being too drunk, the suspect responded by saying he'd "kill him."

Pradhan only had an injury to his finger from Sanchez's belt, and Chavez did not have any injuries, the affidavit said.

The suspect had scrapes and bruises on his face based on his mugshot.
