A Boston woman is blaming smoked Italian meat for her fractured ankle. According to reports, Alice Cohen was at Eataly in Boston when she slipped and fractured her ankle on a slice of prosciutto back in October. The lawsuit says she sustained bodily injuries, a loss of enjoyment of life, pain and suffering, and incurred medical expenses for care and attention. She says she has more that $7,500 in bills. Her and her husband are looking for a jury trial and at least $50,000 in damages. The suit claims that Eataly was negligent for not properly cleaning the floor.
