Andre the Giant Was So Enormous He 'Took Dumps in Bathtubs'

Wrestling legend Andre the Giant was so enormous he often found a toilet too small to do his business in.

The 7ft 4in man mountain was the first person inducted into the WWF Hall of Fame and weighed over 30 stone.

But the French-born grappler’s toilet habits were also memorably large-scale.

Former wrestler Ken Patera, once dubbed The World's Strongest Man, recalled that, because certain loos were so small, “André would just sit on the edge of the bathtub, and s*** in the tub”.

He said his friend André had a crude, and extremely scatalogical sense of humour.

“If he were in some little motel in Japan, and he couldn’t even get into the bathroom, he’d just s*** on some newspaper, or s*** on the coffee table,” Ken told The Hannibal TV podcast.

“I mean, when a big guy has to take a dump, he takes a f***ing dump.”

But even in the US, André’s bathroom habits were legendary.

“We were in Boston and we were always in the same locker room as the Boston Celtics,” he recalled.

“André needs to take a s***, and the size of the stall where the toilet was was real tall because those basketball players, they're seven feet tall.

“So André would go in there and take a dump, of course plugging the f***ing toilet up.

“One time he was in there flushing that f***ing toilet, I bet 30 times. I asked him ‘did that turd ever go down?’ And he said ‘no boss’.

“Anyway, the bathroom was right between the two locker rooms and there were no doors or nothing and it was just wide open. Oh, he stunk that place up so bad.

“And before he took a dump he farted. That f***ing fart had to be 40, maybe 50 seconds long. It just rumbled up out of his a*** like an outboard motor or something.”

It's not the first time the late wrestler's toilet habits have hit headlines.

He was once said to have taken the "world's biggest poo" in a plane toilet that left the entire cabin "puking".
