Wanna pee in public without any legal consequences? A bill being presented by St. Louis lawmakers might give citizens the freedom to do just that. The only catch…prospective pee-ers have to be homeless. The bill’s authors cite the “low number of public restrooms” within the city limits. Megan Green and Alderwoman Alisha Sonnier say that “after every sporting event, Mardi Gras, we see (other) people engaging in public urination…but…enforcing those laws against that segment of the population isn’t the same as the enforcement we see against our unhoused population.”
