A man in Ohio was shot in the face for refusing to share a bag of potato chips with a stranger, according to the police.
Melvin Wright, 42, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly shooting a 31-year-old man in the face Tuesday night on the 40 block of Stanton Avenue, Cleveland 19 reported.
Wright reportedly asked the man outside Lusty Adventures, an adult entertainment club, for some of his potato chips, but he refused, according to the Akron Beacon Journal. The victim told the police that Wright then allegedly pulled out a large handgun and shot him before escaping in a vehicle.

The Akron Police Department said the victim is currently being hospitalized at Summa Health Akron City Hospital after he went to the emergency room on his own.
