Pro Tip: Don’t Take a Gun into an MRI

There’s a reason medical professionals tell you to get rid of any metal objects before you take a ride through an MRI machine. According to a report filed by an insurance provider to the Food and Drug Administration’s Manufacturer and User Facility Devise Experience database, an unnamed 57-year-old woman learned that lesson the hard way…when she snuck in a gun…and it went off and shot her in the ass. Fortunately, the injury was said to be “mild,” all things considered…and an important lesson on safety was learned by all.
