Anal Bead Scandal Returns in Chinese Chess

In September of 2022, the world of competitive chess was rocked by suspicions of cheating by a man using anal beads to gain an advantage. Now, a similar controversy has hit Chinese chess. Yan Chenglong has been banned from competing for a year and stripped of his title of “Xiangqi (Zhiong Chi) King.” He had defeated dozens of competitors to win the title, but it all came crashing down after he took a dump in a bathtub. The anal beads that also came out appear to have confirmed rumors that he’d been using the vibrating beads with a wireless connection to gain a competitive advantage.
