A woman who’s already had 19 kids is about to welcome her 20th. The 39-year-old mom known only as Martha lives in Medellin, Colombia, and says, “I see being a mom like a business, practically.” With 17 of her children under 18 years old and each having been conceived by different fathers, Martha says she receives a government stipend for each child and plush donations from churches and outreach organizations.
Meanwhile, the gigantic family lives in a small three-bedroom house where Martha says she struggles to feed everyone. However, the mama vows to continue to have children until her “body doesn't allow it,” adding, it has been “profitable” for her.
