All places have their own virtues and vices, but if you’re looking for trouble, you’ll be able to find it no matter where you are. But it turns out, some states are more well-behaved than others and a new report reveals which ones they are.
- WalletHub’s annual list of the Most Sinful States in the U.S. has just come out.
- They rank all 50 states on 55 key indicators of immoral or illicit behavior that fall into seven categories: Anger & Hatred, Jealousy, Excesses & Vices, Lust, Greed, Vanity and Laziness.
- They considered everything from the violent crime rate to the number of fast food restaurants.
- So which state is the most sinful of all? Once again, Nevada tops the list.
- The home of Las Vegas, also known as “Sin City,” Nevada is number one for greed and third for jealousy, laziness, excesses & vices, and lust.
- Texas, seventh overall, is number one for lust, while Arkansas, 16th overall, is first for anger and hatred.
- Georgia, 12th overall, is number one for jealousy, while Louisiana, home of New Orleans and second overall, is first for excesses & vices.
- On the flip side, Wyoming is the least sinful state, coming in last for laziness and near the bottom for everything else, except anger & hatred, which it’s 14th for.
