Stephanie L. Seabury, 22, is an Middle School English teacher. She surrendered Monday to face charges of sexually abusing a 13-year-old student, according to Dover police.

 According to court records, the 13-year-old boy told authorities March 12 that he had had a sexual relationship with the teacher with "several planned meetings" at her home. They also exchanged text messages and pictures.

 She was charged with one count of sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust or authority.

Seabury is being held after failing to post $40,000 secured bail




30-year-old Cara Leann Holman a substitute teacher, is facing charges of sexual assault on a child by one in a position of trust.

Holman had been seen going to the 17-year-old's work place in Antonito and leaving with him during his lunch hour.

The deputy alleges that Holman had sex with the teen; and the sheriff's office says that Holman sent inappropriate text messages to the student.

Holman is being held on $20,000 bond.


Jennifer J. Suarez, 37, former High School teacher and coach was charged Friday.

 Suarez was a math teacher who became coach of the school's cross-country team in 2012,  resigned while under investigation.

Investigators say she performed oral sex on a 17-year-old boy inside her classroom after school.

She was charged with first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust and released after posting $20,000 secured bail.
