In Bulgaria, a lone cow named Penka wondered off from her heard and was looking at the death penalty. Penka roamed away from her group and found herself in neighboring Serbia. When she was retured two weeks later, authorities said she had to be put down for violating the guidelines of the European Union and npt having papers verifying her health. Social media protests mainly in Britain, have saved the cow from doom. Animal rights campaigners like Sir Paul McCartney, signed petitions to save the 5 year old bovine.
