Parents in Lyons, Illinois are outraged after learning that a teacher was hired at a local middle school even though he has an attempted murder charge against him. Andres Rodriguez, the teacher in question, earned the charge after an alleged road rage incident, but the school district insists his background check came back clean. He was eventually suspended with pay. But even so, the parents calling for the school districts two superintendents to step down. They have the Mayor on their side about the situation, too.
