Kyle Penniston captured a record setting snake at 17-foot, 5-inch and 120 lbs in Miami-Dade County. It was caught as part of the Python Elimination Program, and the 3rd one caught at over 17ft long. The program is used to remove the invasive species from the Everglades. Penniston is second among the hunters, catching 235 snakes.
