19-year-old Emmanuel Franklin was arrested after her allegedly faked his own kidnapping, trying to get $130 out of his mother. He plotted this on January 22nd. He told his mother that if she didn't put the money in a mailbox that he chooses, he would be murdered by kidnappers. The mother called the police and said she received a call from her son and a man she didn't know, and relayed the incident to them.
