A man paid for a 74-inch TV, but a third-party shipping company sent him that one, plus an 86-inch TV. “I looked into all the laws and said, ‘You know, it’s a scratch ticket. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.'" The bigger TV went up on the wall, and soon the police were involved.
"The delivery service contacted police after several unsuccessful attempts to recover the television," says a statement from the Police Department. Police then visited the man's house but say he was uncooperative. "I answered a lot of questions with 'I don’t know' just so I didn’t jeopardize myself," according to the man.. Officers returned with a search warrant, confiscated the extra TV, and charged the man with larceny and misleading a police officer.
