Alachua County Sheriff's officials said 75-year-old Marvin Hajos had fallen on April 12th when his cassowary attacked him. First responders rushed Hajos to a hospital, but he died from his injuries. Now in accordance with his will that bird along with 100 other exotic animals will be going up for auction. Cassowaries are similar to emus, standing up to 6 feet tall and weighing up to 130 pounds. According to the San Diego Zoo, the cassowary is considered the most dangerous bird in the world. Each 3-toed foot has a dagger-like claw on the inner toe that is up to 4 inches long. The cassowary can slice open any predator or potential threat with a single swift kick.
