Municipal employees in Greenwich, Connecticut are no longer allowed to wearing slide sandals or flip-flops to work. According to officials, it wasn’t because someone was stinking up the joint, but “to create safer conditions and avoid accidents that can result in injuries, absences and workers' compensation claims.”
