Two men were riding in a car in Florida getting some smokes after buying fireworks for their NYE celebration. The passenger had apparently taken the rocket motor off the firework and then lit the fuse on the aerial cluster burst while holding it in his left hand. The inside of the car was reported to be covered in blood, the windshield and the back window were destroyed, the lighter blown apart, and the mans hand too. The police arrived after numerous 911 calls. They applied a tourniquet and assisted him to the hospital. The mans father says that the drive lit a cigarette, and after smoking it, flung it outside, it flew back in, landed in the box of fireworks and his son leaped into action to try and throw it out the window, but was not fast enough now and now may lose his hand. They had started a gofundme to help with the financial impact of the event.
