A 28-year-old man only identified as Liu got trapped in his family’s well after breaking through wood that had been used to cover it. Luckily, as he fell stright down the well, his big belly stopped him from completely falling in. He remained that way as locals watched a team of at least five firefighters tie a strong rope around his waist to finally heave him out to safety. They said he was unharmed. The fire service had estimated his weight at 500 pounds, although a news site said he is closer to 300.
