I don't think the Dollar General has change for a mill..... 39 year old Amanda McCormick and her 61 year old friend Linda Johnson went to the Dollar General where they live, got a cart full of things including gift cards to various businesses. When they got to the counter and tried to pay, the clerk noticed something odd...the $1 million dollar bill they were using to pay for the stuff. The clerk called the police for a "suspicious incident", and when they got there they questioned the two women. Amanda says that she got the bill from a church, but couldn't expand on the church itself. She said that she was making care packages for the homeless. When they talked to Linda, she said she didn't know anything about the bill and that she was just riding around with her to run errands. The incident was classified as "fraud by false pretenses" and the two ladies were issued a no trespassing warning and told they were prohibited from returning to the Dollar General.
