Tennessee Police say an infant starved to death after his mother died from a lethal overdose. Officers responded to a Portland home, finding Nicholas Crowder dead and his mother, Tiffany Spears, dead on the floor after taking a mix of meth and fentanyl. Crowder was strapped into a car seat while his mother overdosed, and he died from starvation and dehydration even though his three-year-old sister tried to feed him. The three-year-old was also found wondering around the house. Investigators say the children were left alone for days after Spears collapsed in the bathroom. Both deaths have been ruled accidental.
