The trend is spreading. Last week, Panasonic in Japan announced plans to switch their workers to a four-day week. Now, it’s the UK’s turn. A six-month pilot program has been announced and starting in June, participating companies will try out giving their workers 80% of the hours…for 100% of their pay. The goal will be to see how the different hours effect productivity, morale, and the overall physical and mental health of their employees.
