A former Home Depot employee is facing charges in a counterfeit scheme that netted nearly 400-thousand dollars. Adrian Pineda was taken into custody Monday for reportedly swapping out 387-thousand-500 dollars of the store's cash with counterfeit money. Pineda worked as a vault associate at Home Depot's Tempe location. He's accused to taking money from deposits and replacing it with fake cash during his shifts over a three-year period. Pineda was arrested by Secret Service agents who seized five-thousand dollars in cash from his home. He's set to appear in court on Monday.
