Teacher Accused Of Choking Student

A New York City teacher is under arrest after allegedly choking a student. The 45-year-old teacher was taken into custody Thursday on claims that he choked a 12-year-old student in the cafeteria of a Bronx school. The Department of Education has since launched an investigation and reassigned Hingle away from the school. It remains unclear what led up to the incident, but if convicted, Hingle could face prison time.
