Woman Charged With Killing Granddaughter To Defend Self In Court

A woman accused of killing her granddaughter is planning to represent herself in her court appearance in Oklahoma today. According to KOCO-TV, Becky Vreeland told the judge in the case that she has "seven years of experience," and feels confident that she can defend herself against a charge of first-degree murder. Vreeland is accused of killing three-year-old Riley Nolan then placing the child's body in a trash can. She claims her granddaughter's death was an accident.
