Federal officials are investigating the weekend death of a grounds worker at an Alabama airport. The NTSB said the worker at Montgomery Regional Airport was killed after he was sucked into the engine of an airplane. It happened Saturday afternoon. According to the NTSB, the American Airlines plane had just arrived from Dallas/Ft. Worth International, when "a ground support personnel was ingested into the engine." The unidentified worker was employed by Piedmont Airlines, which is a subsidiary of American Airlines.
